Privacy Policy

The short version

We run two car washes in Steiner Ranch and Lakeway. We collect what we need to wash your car, run your membership, and hire staff — and not much else.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, with advertising features switched off. We do not use advertising pixels or run behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information.

We read the license plate of every vehicle that enters the wash lane. If you are a member, that is how we let you in.

What we collect, and why

If you visit the website

Our web host, Webflow, records standard server information — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — as every web server does. This is used to serve the site and keep it secure.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site — page views, which pages get visited, and roughly where visitors come from (a search engine, a link, a text message). We have Google's advertising and personalization features switched off: Analytics does not log or store your IP address, we do not use it for remarketing, and its reports are aggregate statistics, not profiles of individual people. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Google's handling is governed by its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

We set no advertising cookies. Webflow sets a small number of functional cookies needed for the site to work, and Google Analytics sets cookies used to count visits.

If you buy a wash or join a membership

Purchases and memberships are handled by DRB Systems through its Patheon platform at purewash.patheon.app. When you buy or manage a plan there, DRB collects and processes:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your vehicle's license plate and vehicle description
• your payment card details
• your plan, wash history, and billing history

Your card details never reach our website or our own systems. DRB is the processor of record; their handling is governed by their own privacy policy at drb.com/privacy_policy.

We access this data through DRB's operator tools in order to run your membership, resolve billing questions, and let you into the wash.

When you drive through the wash

We photograph and read the license plate of every vehicle entering the wash lane, whether or not you are a member. We use it to let members in, to apply the right plan or discount to the wash, and to understand how often cars come back so we can tell which of our offers actually work.

If you apply for a job

Our application form collects your name, phone number, email address, home address, city, state and ZIP, the position and location you want, your available start date, your shift availability and any limitations, your relevant skills, and details of up to two previous employers including duties, dates and reason for leaving.

That form is served by Webflow and protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. Submissions reach us by email on Google Workspace.

We use application data only to assess your application. We do not use it for marketing. We keep it for 12 months and then delete it, unless you are hired, in which case it becomes part of your employment record.

If you contact us

If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence so we can deal with your question and refer back to it if you contact us again.

Who processes data on our behalf

We keep this list short deliberately, and it is complete as of the date above.

We have no advertising partners and no data brokers.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• We do not run advertising pixels or ad trackers on this website.
• We do not use your data to train anything.
• We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

How long we keep things

Your rights

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states may have similar rights. You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you
• correct it if it is wrong
• delete it
• give you a copy in a portable format
• stop selling or sharing it (we do neither, but you may still ask)

Email info@purewashatx.com and we will respond within the period the law requires. We may need to verify who you are first — usually by confirming details already on your membership.

If we refuse a request, we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to that decision. If the appeal is denied you may complain to the Texas Attorney General.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have, contact info@purewashatx.com and we will delete it.

Security

Payment data is handled entirely by DRB and never stored by us. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Access to membership records is limited to staff who need it to do their jobs.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you as Texas law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so on the website and, for members, by email.
